About This Spot

Stepping into Jerry’s Bar is like sinking into a familiar rhythm—warm, inviting, with an unmistakable neighborhood ease that wraps around you. Nestled on West Laurel Street in Philadelphia, this bar & grill strikes a harmonious balance between a lively meetup spot and a cozy retreat. The hum of live music often fills the air, adding a spirited pulse without drowning out conversation, encouraging both animated discussions and relaxed moments.

The pace here feels unhurried but vibrant, where servers greet you with genuine smiles and thoughtful recommendations, inviting you to linger over the carefully crafted, comfort-driven menu. From brunch’s gentle mornings filled with the sweet scent of vanilla brioche French toast to evenings alive with the clinking of glasses and the savory allure of perfectly executed wings and meatballs, the kitchen embraces classic flavors with a fresh, inventive touch.

Jerry’s is that rare kind of place where the approachable meets a subtle sophistication—whether you’re settling in with a bright and zesty breakfast martini, savoring the rich layers of a cheese board shared among friends, or discovering a new favorite in the rotating martini flights. The atmosphere welcomes families, friends, and solo visitors alike, each finding moments to carve out their own story, whether at the bustling bar or a cozy corner table.

What stands out most is the human element—the attentive servers who notice your preferences, the regulars who pass a familiar nod, the live bands whose tunes linger like a pleasant memory after you’ve left. It’s a place where flavors and friendships both develop over time, making every visit feel like a small celebration of Philadelphia’s neighborhood spirit.

Came for Father's Day brunch after seeing on Instagram. Live music and cozy, warm vibe. Service was exceptional, not rushed but attentive. Steak and eggs were cooked to perfection My husband adored his chicken and waffles. Hot and honey sauce had the perfect amount of kick. The lox appetizer was huge enjoyed as a meal. The orange crush slushy was sweet and refreshing with a delicious slice of orange garnish. We will definitely be back!

Hip fun eatery walking distance while city center. We stopped for cocktails and found this place for dinner. This place with modern with a great menu and seasonal martini flights. We had the short rib dinner which was a little fatty but excellent.

I love Jerry’s it’s such a vibe, the servers are always so sweet and offer recommendations. The espresso martini is 10/10. The food is also really good. I’ve been a few times and I’m always happy. The live band always plays the cutest songs. The only minor thing would be at times the band is really loud, but once again the music they play is always great.

Jerry’s Bar absolutely crushes it when it comes to food. For a neighborhood bar, the kitchen punches way above its weight. Every dish feels thoughtfully done ,craveable, and consistently executed. The menu hits that perfect sweet spot between elevated bar food and comfort classics. Portions are generous, flavors are bold, and everything comes out hot and fresh. It’s the kind of place where you order “just a snack” and end up planning your next visit around another meal. If you’re in Northern Liberties and looking for a bar that takes food seriously, not as an afterthought Jerry’s is a must. Easily one of the best food-forward bar spots in the neighborhood. Five stars without hesitation.

My wife and I went to Jerry’s for dinner a few days after Christmas. The service was impeccable! The waiter’s descriptions of the specials was thoroughly impressive. For apps we had the lobsta bisque and scallops. They were both fabulous, the bisque was definitely one of the best I’ve had! For our main courses my wife had the chicken wrapped in prosciutto with mashed potatoes and I had the Cod, once again they were both exceptional. My wife shocked me with a comment worth sharing. She said they were the best mashed potatoes she’s ever had! We’ve eaten out at hundreds of restaurants over the years and we highly recommend Jerry’s as a place to check out! We’re looking forward to going for brunch! See you soon! Happy New Year!

I just came from JB on a friend's reference for happy hr.. Its a must try if you're in the area..I had the lemon pepper wings, Hummus trio, the burger&fries, and the mussels to name a few... All were really good and fresh.. Mitch was the mixologist and the bar started to pick up a crowd, but the service remained amazing and fast, and the drinks and ice cold beer left an impression to wanna share.. it's worth a try and I'll definitely being g going back. Great job to the chef &,crew, the management and the owners.. Keep up the good work!

I came with some of my friends and honestly such a good experience. The chicken sandwich was delicious perfectly cooked, flavorful, and definitely one of the best I’ve had. Their drinks were amazing too, really well made and refreshing. This is a great spot for brunch or happy hour with friends. Good food, good drinks, good vibes.. a bit pricey but, definitely worth checking out!
